Last day of maternity leave

I'm so sad today, my last day home from maternity leave and I felt bad that this has to end. I dread the hussle of getting to daycare /work and all that goes with it as well as no quality time when we get home.
DH knows I'm sad but he's telling me it's good for me to go back I think he sees me as more social at work. We can't live off one paycheck right now unfortunately. I dread getting dressed up in the morning and packing my kids up for daycare. It went so fast. Thanks for letting me vent

Sending you lots of hugs It sucks! The first day will be the worst and then it will get a little easier. Those weekends and nights with your little one will mean so much more now. Good luck! I've been there too

I feel you. I remember the first week was the hardest. 15 months later I still sometimes get upset but you are doing right by your family.

I remember my last day of maternity leave. I cried all day/night. It's hard but trust me it will get easier... especially once you fall into a routine.

I'm a teacher and cried every day last year that I didn't want to leave my daughter when it was time to go back. Now at 18 months she is so much fun and is this cute little person. The thought of leaving her again breaks my heart. I know how you feel.
