Today is my last day of maternity leave
I'm so sad to leave my little girl tomorrow. I feel better knowing that my mom will be watching her but I'm so worried she is going to wonder where I am or I'm going to miss her doing something for the first time. My silver lining is I go back for 24 days andthen have a week off for Spring Break.

IT STINKS!!! Last week was my first week. It was harder on me than on DS but I had the same worry...is he thinking "where's mommy"?

It's not that bad once you start a routine, the first week is the hardest. I know EXACTLY how you feel this is my 3rd week back at work

It really does get better. I cried all the way to and from work for the first two days, and then the tears just stopped. Just think how happy you'll be coming home to that smile!

i thought i was going to be a total disaster going back to work, and u know..i did ok. Jack goes to kindercare 3days and my mom has him the other 2. Its so good that your mom is watching her. just makes things easier on the mind.
it was good getting back into a routine and talking to my work friends. the first few days will go by so fast b/c you're getting settled and catching up.
i miss my little guy terribly dont get me wrong, but you get through it!

thanks everyone! All I keep thinking is how excited I will be to leave and see her. It is going to be hard the 1st week, and im sure you guys are right that it will prob be harder for me than her.
