Fussy nurser - 3 months
Typically my DS is an excellent nurser. Today, TWO different times his nursing was erratic. He would latch, take a few sips, arch his back, unlatch and cry hysterically. I tried to re latch him, but was unsuccessful. I walked around with him and patted his back for several minutes. No burp, but it did calm him down. I then sat down with him and he nursed no problem.
Any idea what it could be? He has always been a "happy spitter" so I am wondering if it's reflux related. Or I was thinking it could be related to my diet - we are currently on vacation and I have obviously been eating different foods. I also read it could be teething - he has been a drooly mess!
If it doesn't get better, I plan on calling up the doctor.
TIA!
