A few quick sesame place questions

First, if we plan to go out to the car and picnic area for lunch, which parking lots are good or not good for that? Would the middle level lot be better than the cheapest one?

We're doing the early character breakfast, anyone know what time the parking lots open if we get there early?

Planning on putting DD in crocs for the water stuff but didn't think about myself. Do I need to bring water shoes for myself or can I get away with flip flops?

Any other general tips?

We just came back for the first time. There was only one huge parking lot from what I saw. No middle level.unless you mean parking on the VIP area. We found out the hotel had a shuttle after the first day so we didn't have to pay $17 You could bring your food in and eat it I'd you wanted but they limit cooler size. I would call too see what time they let you on for breakfast. For shoes you really don't need water shoes I only had flip flops even though I did get my daughter a pair.

I hate to say this even though I had a great time aside from the food, I was disappointed that all our kids got coxsackie. (I'm guessing from the wave pool or lazy river). I didn't notice till it was too late that many kids were not wearing swimmers clearly not potty trained age. My lesson learned. All the other water activities were great.

I also only saw one big lot, across from the gates. If you get there early for the breakfast you will be one of the first ones in the lot, so close to the gate. I think we got there at 815 and the breakfast was at 845. Flip flops are fine, thats what I wore. We did have DS wear water shoes. Have fun!

I don't know about the lots but I wore flip flops and was fine. My DD wore water shoes. We were there in June and had a blast.

There are multiple parking lots (3 of them). We parked in VIP when we went because we wanted easy and quick access to the car throughout the day. We all had water shoes. There was no way we were going to be barefoot for the wave pool or splash castle. We picked them up for $5 each at Five Below.

ETA: We took our own character photos so we didn't have to spend $ purchasing the ones they take. Get yourself one of their refillable cups. You'll save a ton when you're thirsty throughout the day.

A few quick sesame place questions

Figured I'd update if anyone is interested. We parked in the preferred lot for an extra $3 and since we went early for the character breakfast we got a great spot right near the picnic area. We left our coolers in the car and it was easy to go out for lunch and the tables are shaded. We also got the LOs to nap in the strollers then so it was great to have a quiet, shady area to hang out for a few hours while they slept. We ended up staying all the way through the 7pm parade so it was a full day!
