Anyone give chamomile tea for infant gas/ tummy?
How did you do it? The dr said I could make a cup for myself & give him 1part tea mixed w/a little water...do I just mix it and use a dropper?
ETA: DS is 11 weeks.

Are you bfing? I drank chamomile tea for myself a couple of times a day but didn't give to DD.

Yes, I am EBFing. Hmm, I didn't think drinking it myself could help his gas. Did it help your DD?
I was giving Mylicon, but I accidentally got some on his skin and he got a hive from it (the 1st inactive ingredient is citric acid!!) , so the dr said to avoid it and give the tea if he was gassy.

Anyone give chamomile tea for infant gas/ tummy?
I did this for my DS around 2-3 months old. I would make him a warm cup of water and dunk the tea bag a few times. Maybe it was about 4 oz - he would take a few sips out of the bottle. It seemed to settle him on really bad days.

My sister and I both gave/give our little guys camomile fresh from the mountains in a bottle- room temp or slightly warm

I think it did....but I would have like 4 large cups a day. She did seem less gassy but maybe it was just in my head lol

I did it for my youngest. The ped told me to make a cup & let it get to room temperature. I then would use the tea throughout the day

Yes I put it in a sealed bottle on the counter

I did it at night. I would make a cup of tea, let it cool down a bit then put in a bottle and let it further cool down and then give to my dd. I didn't find that it helped her much.

We tried it when DS was young. I don't think it helped much, and he didn't seem to love the flavor, so we stopped.

This is what i did as well. Now at 2.5 years old he will ask me for tea when his belly hurts!

I did. I was EBF and drank a cup of camomile tea everyday when DD was that age. I was told I could put some in a dropper and give to her but I didn't end up doing that - just drank the tea. I think it worked. I also did the mylicon drops as needed.
