Re: Flat Head
A plastic surgeon for a flat head??????
No way!
Most flatness can be resolved by wearing a helmet for a few months. While not fun, it's not invasive at all.
Look up plagiocephaly to see if that sounds like what your child has.
We used Tony Cappa at Bay Ortho and were happy with the results for our twins.
If the flatness is caused by Torticollis, they may need physical therapy too. We highly recommend Dr. Linda Fineran in Bellmore. She is amazing!

You can also try Dr. Hilary Berlin 1 Expressway Plz, Suite 106 Roslyn Heights, NY 11577 (516) 471-9371
I'm not 100% sure that she does helmets tho but if you call, they can tell you

Re: Flat Head
We used the neurologist Dr Greg Rosenn and Tony Cappa from Bay Ortho for the helmet for my son's plagiocephaly. I would recommend both of them.

thanks for all the responses, at first the pedia said it was torticollis but my friend who is a PT said it was not. my baby born with his head like that, flat spot on the right side only. i thought it will go away after a few months but its not. i was surprised too when i called the doctor and said shes a plastic surgeon, thats why i dont want to go anymore. i will try to contact your recommendations and ask if they accept my insurance.
