Elisabeth's last day today on View. Any thoughts?
I think they all have irritating quirks, but I find her perspective necessary.. Not sure what their dynamics will be like once her and Joy are gone.

Although people may not agree with her point of view, I hope they do not replace her with someone who thinks just like the others on the show because why bother? You need differing points of view to have an interesting discussion.

I agree. I hope they bring on someone who is more on the conservative side for a different point of view. The show will be boring with all of the one sided thinking.

maybe i missed out on alot bc i don't watch the show...but when i did I always understood her conservative views and didn't find them to be offensive.
I also agree that adding someone who is along the same thought process will kill the show. for a talk show it's important to get different perspectives.

I really think they fired her. That show is known for long goodbyes when the person leaves by their own volition. Don't you think it was weird that Sherri wasn't there?

I'll miss her. I didn't agree with her on a lot of issues. But I still liked her; and liked the stories she would share about her kids.

I pretty much stopped watching when they replaced Lisa Ling (who was my favorite of all the View hosts) with her. Then, when Meredith left, I stopped watching altogether. The others just didn't have the same level of professionalism and it seemed like there was no one left moderating discussions. Elisabeth was always too screechy for me and it wasn't her conservatism that bothered me, it was how annoying and unoriginal she was.

I agree with your point about Meredith. She was an actual.moderator and stayed neutral at all times. Whoopi isn't a true moderator, and neither was Rosie, because they were too opinionated, which is the role of the other women on the panel.
