Did your toddler climb out of crib?

My son was never an escape artist, but we had him in a real bed by the time he was 2 1/2 (with guard rails). My daughter is only 21 months but is very tall and seems to be pulling her foot up over the crib rail - the mattress is at the lowest setting. At what age do they begin to escape? My son never even tried. I'm wondering if I'll have her in a toddler bed sooner than later.

DD climbed out at 21 months. Switched her to a bed the following morning.

DD is almost 3 and has never tried. She calls for us and waits lol
I'm only getting her a bed because we need the crib for #2

DS was 22 months when he climbed out at nap time. We converted to a toddler bed that evening. There was no warning that he was going to climb out. He had never tried before. I guess he took some time planning the escape and then executed the plan

My oldest didn't do it until 2.5. My youngest was just at 20 months.

My DS was climbing out by 17-18 months. His crib was on the lowest setting. Didn't stop him.

My Oder DS starting climbing out around 26 months. By 30 months he was climbing in ad out at will so we switched him to a bed. My younger DS is 3 years old and still in his crib. He climbed out once and will ever do that again. He's a bit of a scaredy cat.

DS#1 climbed out of the crib at 19 months at the lowest setting. We put a gate at the top of the stairs after that and moved him into a big bed with rails. DS#2 is trying but hasn't been successful yet. Big brother is trying to teach him.

My girls started climbing out really early, around 17 months. Once they climbed out the first time they wouldn't stay in and I switched them into youth beds the same day. One of them fell on her head and that was that. I have a leather couch in their room and ever since the crib got converted they refuse to sleep in their bed. I even bought memory foam mattress toppers for their beds but they still choose to sleep on the couch.

My DS is a climber... except in the crib! He's 2.5 and has never tried. He barely even stands up until we come to get him. When he starts singing we know he's up.

She was climbing out since 19 months... she was in a bed by 21 months with a gate at her door b/c we live in a Split and I was way to nervous about the stairs. Shes 3 and the gate is still there but she just opens and closes it lol

DS #1 was switched to a bed when DS #2 was born at 18 months.

DS #2 started climbing out of the crib last week, he is 22 months. We took the front off the crib and ordered a twin bed which is coming on Friday.
