Wha was your favorite but affordable baby gift?
I am making a gift bag of my fave baby items for my BFF bro and sil who had a bit of a rough time conceiving. They are very sweet and I want them to know I am thinking of them and so happy for them. I have a few ideas but need 1-2 more things...thoughts?
Here is what I have so far...
PJs (I feel like newborns live in pjs) Comotomo Teether from Amazon that is awesome Gonna burn a few lullabye CDs
I may get a personalized burp cloth. Someone got me one and I love keeping it DDs diaper bag when we are out at friends and whatnot.
What else? $10-15ish?

I'm not sure if you live near the deer park outlets but the Christmas tree shop has the Carter's calendars for the first years milestones for 1.99. I love the calenders! I have one for each of my kids and I bought a whole bunch of them to add to gifts.

Wha was your favorite but affordable baby gift?
When my nephew was born we got them all of our favorite things since I had just had DD 3 months before. I don't remember exactly what we put in it, but just everyday stuff that we had tried a few different kinds of and wanted to spare them the trial and error.
I love anything personalized, and you can get a ton pretty cheap on Etsy - bibs, burp clothes, frames, onesies.

Re: Wha was your favorite but affordable baby gift?
I got it for myself, but it is the hand print ceramic kit. I got 2 - one for the hand and one for the foot. I love having it in my kids room. I did one for each of them and now they like to compare their hand with their baby hand. I did them when they were about 3 weeks old.

I love the white noise machine I got as a gift. It's the sleep sheep from cloud b. I never woulda have registered for it but dd loves it

I got a great monogrammed tote bag from ll bean from someone - which I LOVED.
My faveeeeeeeeee burp cloth was a shower gift - the Aden + Anais burp bib. I couldn't live without them!
I also got Coldplay, U2, Bob Marley, and The Beatles lullabye cd's. AMAZING!

Re: Wha was your favorite but affordable baby gift?
Mustela Phisiobebe No Rinse Baby Wash. It smells amazing and it's handy to have in the beginning before you're allowed to bathe the baby and after that for wipe downs before bed.
Someone on here recommended it a few years ago and I include it in all my baby shower gifts now!

Wha was your favorite but affordable baby gift?
how about a first aid kit
coworkers made me an "emergency" kit - as they put it, you always seem to run out of something critical on the day there's a snowstorm and you can't leave the house. So their kit had diapers, ointment, wipes, lotion, soap/shampoo
