Britax Convertible Car Seat Owners PLEASE COME IN
What is the difference between the Britax Convertible Car Seats? Marathon vs Pavillion vs Advocate? Is it just the dimensions/weight? Is there anything else justifying the $100 or more price difference for them?
Im in the market for a convertible car seat as my dd is just on the verge of growing out of car seat and I am SO LOST! I just know I want a Britax convertible.
Thanks in advance!

The Advocate and Pavillion have a few extra features that the Marathon does not have.
Comparison
I have a Marathon and am happy with it.

I have an advocate in my car and a marathon in DH's car. The advocate has more added safety features but it's HUGE! Just something to keep in mind. I have DD;s seat in the middle and no one can comfortably sit next to the seat

I have a Boulevard 70CS and I can honestly see my daughter fitting in there for a very long time...she's now almost 3 and it's extremely comfortable when she falls asleep in it.
Sorry I do not know about the other ones

My DS has the Marathon and DD has the Pavillion. I love both, but the Marathon straps get tangled a lot more. The Pavillion has extra comfort and some extra safety features. It is very bulky, but worth it. I find my DD looks a little more comfy then DS in his Marathon.

The britax website has a good comparison thing. I think they just have slightly different weight/ height ranges and some might be shaped slightly differently. We have the britax boulevard 70 and its a great seat!! DS is 28 months and is really comfy in there- falls asleep all the time!! And I can see him fitting in there for awhile still. I really just like the way the straps are, it's easy to use...would reccomend it!

Re: Britax Convertible Car Seat Owners PLEASE COME IN
I have the Boulevard CS in my parents' car and I have the Pavillion in my car.
I liked the Boulevard SO much better!!! I find it so difficult to properly tighten the straps on the Pavillion, something I never had a problem with on the Boulevard. I think it is because the Pavillion has the neck protector pads permanently affixed to the back of the carseat, but I'm not sure.
I would definitely recommend the Boulevard CS

I have two Advocates they take up a LOT of room and they were really hard for us to install. My truck is probably not made for young families with twins so it might just be a problem with my specific truck but I got them because they were supposed to have more safety features. My mom actually bought them for my girls for Christmas. We ordered them at either at albeebaby.com or at diapers.com and they are on sale ALOT, so the price wasn't terrible. We didn't pay nearly full price I think they were about 25-30% off retail.
I will say that we were unable to use them rear facing because we couldn't get them to set up right in my truck (and still be able to drive or use the front passenger seat) so we only started using them recently front facing.

I have the blvd and marathon. They are essentially the same IMO but I like how the Blvd straps are little easier.
