Which Britax Convertible Car Seat did you register for/have?
Due to our oh so clever choice in vehicle (sporty yet not practical Mustang), we decided for safety sake, we are going with a Britax. I read the Marathon has the best safety rating, but I wanted to get some feedback from the ladies here as to which carseat you registered for/got and why. TIA!

I registered for the marathon also...i honestly wanted something cheaper but i hvent heard any reviews or good things about the cheaper ones really so i ended up just registering for the marathon

we registered for the britax boulevard.
we saw it in the store and liked how it head the head support whereas the marathon didn't...

Yep, I know-I was stalking your registry earlier! I do like that one a lot, but I wanted to see if there was a cheaper Britax model that did the same. If not, we will be car seat twins!

In Baby Bargins the Marathon and the Roundabout (slightly smaller cheaper option) are tied as the best seats...
If its for your mustang... I would look into the roundabout as it is a smaller model, as I read that the Marathon doesn't fit in all smaller type of cars.

In Baby Bargins the Marathon and the Roundabout (slightly smaller cheaper option) are tied as the best seats...
If its for your mustang... I would look into the roundabout as it is a smaller model, as I read that the Marathon doesn't fit in all smaller type of cars.

Thanks! We are going into BBB to speak to a certain salesman who has a Mustang as well and see what he recommends. I didn't even think about whether it would fit in our cars as we have bucket seats.

We love our Marathon. This time though we bought a Roundabout since this Baby will be in from Birth since we don't care for infant seats...

I also have a 2 door car with bucket seats... so I actaully went with the Marathon, got it at our shower, and then we went back and exchanged it for the Roundabout, b/c I was nervous it wasn't going to fit after looking into it a little more... the Marathon is I think 3-5" Taller...

Honda Accord... We just had come back from looking at the new 4 door ones... but then we came home and put the snugride (her infant) car seat base in and tried to snap it in and out... and it wasn't that bad...
So now we are deciding if we should just stick with the 2 door car we have which is fully paid off... or lease a new car with a $300 monthly payment... Its tough...

we have a honda and a ford focus wagon (and a jeep but the lease is up in November).
we have two Britax Marathons. i actually took DS to the store to try them out, and that was the one he looked most comfortable in.

FYI: The Roundabout now comes in a "50" version that goes up to 50 pounds. It's a little bigger than the Roundabout (which we had for #1) but the same price.
We have 2 Roundabouts and have absolutley no complaints.
