Storing Clothes

DD is 4 months old and has outgrown a lot of clothes at this point- at least two full (but small sized) sterlite storage containers at this point. But then I was thinking maybe a plastic bin wasn't the best way to store the clothes for the long haul. How do you store your LO's old clothes? Anyone know of the "best" way?

Re: Storing Clothes

We use the clear plastic bins and store them in the attic. I sorted my son's clothes by size and season.

I just recently switched the last 3 years worth of clothes to those vacuum seal bags from Bed Bath & Beyond. I saved a LOT of space doing that and freed up a lot of bins.

I have one of the monster sized vacuum bags and it holds so much. I feel that it's sealed better than the bins anyway. I have extra towels and sheets for DD as well as all of her newborn and 3 month clothes and it's not even close to full. I even took her bouncy seat apart and wrapped the pieces in the sheets and put that in as well along with the newborn insert from her carseat and the boppy.

For those that use the space bags....then where do you put those? Just on a shelf, in a closet? Or do you stick those in a bin?

Storing Clothes

Mine are all in plastic bins and they are taking over my garage. The Space Bag seems like a good option to look in to.

We store them in plastic bins and put them in the attic. We have about 15 bins now, so I am definitely considering switching to bags!
