Storing your pregnancy clothes
Did you remove your regular clothes from your closet and drawer and just leave out your maternity clothes? Or are all your clothes just mixed up...
I'm asking because i need to organize my draws and closets tomorrow (as everything is overflowing out of my drawers) and i'm wondering if i should put my regular clothes somewhere else for now.

Re: Storing your pregnancy clothes
I cleared out 2 drawers in my dresser for maternity clothes. I also added a section of hanging maternity clothes in my closet and 2 shelves. I moved some of the clothes that were unseasonable and totally unwearable with this huge belly.

Re: Storing your pregnancy clothes
i just cleared out some space with my last pregnancy - didn't fully put regular clothes away/somewhere else...it was all sort of mixed up but in an organized way to me. I knew where everything was. Will probably do the same this time around.

Re: Storing your pregnancy clothes
I brought out all my maternity clothes that i had in storage tubs and took out my regular clothes. So just my maternity clothes are in my closet, with the exception of some shirts that still fit.

Re: Storing your pregnancy clothes
My closet is overfull so I took out all the shirts that I can't currently wear to make room for my maternity clothes. Same for pants. It was getting too confusing to pick out clothes in the morning so now everything in there is an option.

Re: Storing your pregnancy clothes
I cleared out a lot of clothes from my closet, but not everything. My drawers have all my normal clothes in them. I still wear the same PJ pants, Yoga pants, scrubs for work, tank tops. All non maternity. All my normal maternity clothes are hung up.

Re: Storing your pregnancy clothes
Yes. I had to put away almost all of my "regular" clothes in bins because I was having a difficult time finding my maternity clothes in the mix. So, my other clothes are out of the way until one day when I can fit them again. Also, I hear I may have to stay in maternity wear for a few weeks and maybe months after delivery.

Re: Storing your pregnancy clothes
DH and I each have a side of the closet, and my side has a rod on both the top and the bottom. Top rod is my pre-maternity clothes that I don't wear.
Bottom rod is maternity clothes and a few shirts that still work for me that was prematernity.

Re: Storing your pregnancy clothes
A lot of my regular clothes I took out and placed them in storage under my bed or in large containers in the hallway. Dh and I are still living with my parents as we wait on a closing date on our house. I am hoping we close soon on our house because we are seriously running out of room. My moms attic is packed with all of my wedding shower gifts! So I have my regular clothes in storage containers!

Re: Storing your pregnancy clothes
I tried on everything (mostly because with work I have to make sure things look appropriate)
and any sweaters/shirts that I knew were flowy enough to last through the pregnancy, I kept in there, but anything else, and pants that didn't fit, I put in the downstairs closet...'
it was silly to me to think I'd have to hassle with a bunch of clothes I can't even wear for half a year when it's 5:30 am and im trying to get ready for work...
I'll switch everything back after...
