Car sick or virus please help!!!!!
We are on our way home from Vermont and ds vomited bad. We cleaned him up and took apart carseat and about 30 minutes later he vomited again .
What do u think it is a virus or car sick? How do you tell the difference?
Any tips to help prevent carsickness?
We are supposed to drive to North Carolina next week!
I can't wait to get home

There is a stomach virus going around. Many children in my DD's school have it. Also a lot of people had it while I was on vacation last week.

I'm not sure I'm thinking stomach virus...he threw up 7x every 30-45 min the whole trip home.
Weird thing is he stopped when we got home. Not sure if that was just a coincidence or not? I just gave him a tiny bit of water to see if he could keep it down.

My DD all of a sudden started getting car sick on the way home from a long trip on the NJ Turnpike...we gave her children's dramamine from a rest area and she was fine the rest of the way...now I just give it on a long trip to be safe.

how was your dd when she was car sick?vommiting often??

Car sick or virus please help!!!!!
Not sure how old DS is but there is a new kid version of Dramamine available. If you look on the Bonnie website they have tips for dealing with car sickness.
DS got car sick once, since then I have a bucket tied to his car seat. On a long car trip DS said he was going to be sick. He grabbed his pail just in time. Didn't have a mess to clean.
I always have paper towels and extra clothes in the car now.

As a kid I got air sick once and threw up the entire plane ride and half the car ride home.. As soon as I got home and was still for a while, I was fine
