i cant imagine this - unless they just found an entire classroom dead? how did they not report such from the beginning......
This is what I meant by my post about speculation/confirmation. Every news outlet is reporting something different. I don't know which one has the right information. Regardless, it's sickening.

My heart is just breaking for these sweet babies & their parents. I cannot fathom as a parent getting that call and having to go to the school and maybe/maybe not be able to pick up my son.

Channel 7 just reported more than 20 killed. Most are children.

Channel 7 just reported more than 20 killed. Most are children.
Also that a CT local paper is reporting one entire classroom is unaccounted for.

I hope people can try to keep perspective. I know this is awful and it hurts us all but school shootings are rare.
I refuse to live my life worrying about this because worrying isn't productive. I'm not trying to be insensitive but trying to show that millions of kids go to school each day and the worst problem of the day is a broken crayon.
Let us all try to keep that in mind as we grieve for those poor children.

Omg omg omg this is unreal. He had to have been in the room and shot them all can you imagine the fear? How, how can anyone do that? You have to be a monster, not a human that's for sure. How do people turn into this? I couldn't hurt a cat Nevermind a whole room of babies :(

It's rare.. but rare isn't NEVER. I can't begin to wrap my mind around the possibility. The idea of it makes me want to vomit.
Worrying is NOT productive.. but when you get a reminder that there are f*cking MONSTERS in this world.. real, true monsters.. it shakes you up. It makes you re-evaluate what you are doing and how you can do it better.
I am absolutely thinking about homeschool. Maybe it will wind up not being the best option for me.. but stuff like this makes me wonder if it could work for me.

This is horrible - Channel 7 is also saying that the police believe the gunman was a parent.
How can someone do this to poor innocent children - those who died and those who survived who are going to be emotionally scarred.
