Baby food left out for 4.5 hours is it still good?
So, DH was feeding DS pears this morning at 10am. I get home at 2:30pm and the jar is still out, half full  So, does the same rule of formula apply to baby food. Should I toss it or can I use it? Baby did not eat directly from the jar so its not contaminated.

toss is...bacteria starts growing after a few hours left out in room temp.

I agree. Definitely get rid of it. There's no preservatives in them.
