I used to boil the water but @ 8 or 9 months I have just used tap water. We live in Queens and the ped actually recommends the water bc of the fluoride.

No I always use bottled water. I also use bottled water to steam and thin his food when I make it.

I don't (I use bottled) but I just read an article saying tap is safe and actually good because of the floride it contains. I'm going to talk to my ped about using tap.

Tap in nassau has no fluoride. Only the 5 boroughs do.

I used a brita filter, but there were a few times i forgot to fill it, ds was screaming so i just used straight tap water.

Typically i stayed away from bottled water because ds's dr said that there were no regulations for what was or wasnt in it and most of the time the source was unknown. She did however say in a pinch Poland Spring would be her choice if I had to use bottled.

Re: Do you use water right from the faucet to make bottles?

I use boiled water. I have used faucet water before but not many times.
I try to stay away from bottled water since they say that it's not very good. I think it has possible BPA, not regulated, sitting in bottles too long. I will use Poland spring if I'm out.

Re: Do you use water right from the faucet to make bottles?

I only use nursery water and if I was out in a pinch i would use poland spring. my neighbor spooked us out about drinking the water here even through a filter. So I just recently I got a water cooler dispenser and have Poland spring delivered. My 21 month old drinks poland spring with us and my 6 month old drinks nursery water.

I always used room temp bottled water. For regular drinking water, I buy the Poland Spring Gallons and keep them in the fridge.
