Heating pad, hot water bottles?
I have a TERRIBLE pain in my back, I guess a muscle right next to my shoulder blade. Can I use a heating pad? I'm thinking no, but maybe a hot water bottle would be better? Help?

I asked my doctor about this yesterday. I have a horrible pain in my shoulder blade area as well. She said I could use a heating pad on the lowest heat for 10 minute intervals. She said to try warm compresses as well.

Thanks ladies, I ended up using a hot water bottle on & off, it is actually better today thanks god!
