how many ounces?
is your 3 month old eating?? is it breast milk or formula? And how often do they eat? DD is almost 3 months old and I am heading back to work so she is going to have to start taking a bottle. I have pumped breast milk for her and formula also. so how much is your little one eating and how often.
Right now DD starts anywhere between 7- 8 am and is fed (breastfed) any 2-3 hours until 8 pm and then it is bedtime. is this typical?

Re: how many ounces?
Im not sure how much dd gets when I BF but if I pump she is drinking anywhere from 3-4 oz. every 2-3 hours. The longest she goes without eating is maybe from 8pm to 1or 2am. then its 2-3 hrs to next feeding.

Re: how many ounces?
DD eats about 5-6 every 2-3 hours throughout the day. Just started on formula.
At night though, she can sleep anywhere between 9-12 hours without eating :)(loving that..lol)

how many ounces?
This is from BabyCenter:
If your baby isn't eating any solids (if he's younger than 4 to 6 months, he shouldn't be), the rule of thumb is to offer him 2.5 ounces of formula per pound of body weight each day.
So if your baby weighs 6 pounds, you'll give him about 15 ounces of formula in a 24-hour period. If he weighs 10 pounds, he should drink about 25 ounces in a 24-hour period.
I used that as a guideline to start with. I want to say that at 3 months DS was almost 15 lbs and drank a bottle every 3 hrs while awake (8, 11, 2, 5, 8) and he was prob drinking 7 oz per bottle. At one point we went up to 8 oz, but then down to 4 bottles, and added in solids at 4 mos. He's never really gone over 8oz and is now on 3 bottles at 12 mos.

how many ounces?
He'll be 4 months on Friday and is eating approx 6-7oz per bottle (only know that because that's what I usually pump out in the middle of the night) 8am, 12pm, 4pm, 8pm and now gets two snacks of 2 oz around 2ish and 6ish. He had been sttn but has been waking up around 6am and then eventually falling back to sleep until 7:30-8am
