MY DD is 23 months old and never eats!
All the things she used to love, she will no longer eat. All she wants is milk.
There are days she eats almost nothing. I am so worried.
All she wants is milk and apples. I would give her french fries just to get her to eat, but nothing!
What do I do? This whole summer she has been like this.

maybe speak to the pediatrician to see if there is anything you can give her like a "ensure" type drink.
Or you can make smoothies with hidden ingredients like vegis & protein

A lot of toddlers go through this.. She won't starve and as long as she is maintaining her weight, a lot of doctors won't do anything. Been there... Just keep offering her stuff. Try new foods. Pediasure is good. Maybe limit her milk intake to see if she will eat. Try yogurt smoothies...

I remember my pediatrician telling me when my oldest went through it that toddlers need only 1 meal in 24 hrs to still receive nutrients. Fruit is good for them, DS use to only eat that. His stage took about 6 months. I started to introduce new food ideas & there are still days he eats only 1 meal & 1 snack.

we got pediasure to help on that....daycare requires there be a backup when our kid doesn't eat.....
there is an apple sauce now which has veggies hidden in there, we use that too for backup.
maybe try forcing the other food(like not serving the milk and apples) at each meal, she'll give in, might take a meal or two.

DS started doing this too around 21 months.
We keep offering food and he eats what he wants when we offer it. MIL tries forcing which only makes it worse (he'll pretend to chew then spit it all out)
i just go with it.
in the past 3 months he lost maybe 2 lbs (the doctor is fine with it as he is off the charts for height and weight) he runs around plays and acts like his normal self. when he is hungry he asks for food.
i'm also thinking it's summer and hot. who wants to eat when it's this hot anyway?
