weight gain question...
at what point(week) did u notice that you were gaining weight?

I had pretty bad Morning Sickness up until the beginning of my 2nd trimester, so I actually lost a few pounds at first..
I didn't have any "gain" until I was close to 15 weeks preggo.
As of my 21 wk appointment I was up a total of 13 pounds. I'll see how much more I gained as of next week  I think it's gonna be bad

I never had m/s and I am always hungry soooo I started right away. I gained about 2 -3 lbs in the first 8 weeks and about 3 lbs each month thereafter

I will be 20 weeks tomorrow and have only gained 3lbs
Far cry from my last pregnancy where I gained over 50lbs total

I gained weight immediately...5 lbs in the first month!
I was sooooooo bloated that I looked bigger at 10 and 12 weeks than I do now.

At my 12 week appointment I had gained 4lbs.
I have been really sick, but the only foods that don't make me sick are all carbs (bread and mashed potatos) and sugary juice drinks. Oh well, I'd rather feel half way decent.

I didn't gain any weight until about 14 weeks. I was pretty sick before then and couldn't keep everything down.

I think everyone is different...up until 19-20 weeks I gained 1 pound...ONE! and I was in all of my pre-preggo clothes...all of a sudden BOOM, I was gaining...I gained 52 pounds total ALL after 22 weeks...Granted the last 11 were gained in the last week (my 37th) when I started to show signs of Pre-e...
I have since lost 56 pounds, so I am 4 pounds below my pre-pg weight...

I did not have morning sickness, so I was gaining consistently throughout. I gained more in the beginning (14lbs. in the first trimester) then it slowed down to a consistent weight gain of 39lbs. total. I actually lost 5 lbs, the week before I delivered. TMI...I was so constipated the first tri and that is probably why I gained  I also stopped working out (doctor's orders).

I started seeing a change at about 7-8 weeks. I had the 24/7 dizzies, and felt awful. I gained about 10lbs my first trimester.

i am 18 weeks and i just started gaining I am now up a total of five pounds. with my first son I gained immediately and couldnt stop lol so this seems better for me.

wow...judging from all these responses I feel like I'm gaining way too much weight! I started gaining immediately but it's been slow and steady all along...at 21 weeks I'm up 18 pounds!
