Disney moms?
I am looking to take DS to Disney 2 weeks after his 3rd birthday. I was just wondering when you have to get park tickets, I see that they dont charge for a 2 y/o but they do for a 3 y/o do they ask for a birth certificate. Or do you think I can get away with out getting him a pass for the week?

They ask for no proof of age. It's on the honor system.

I have heard that the employees will engage your child in conversation and may ask his/her age. I don't think you will want to coach your child to lie so you may want to reconsider your travel dates or pay for your LO

AJ's Bday is August 22nd
I took her late Oct that year
Said she turns 3 on Nov 2nd (total lie) they just went with it.
She was 3 and a few months but celebrated her 3rd birthday there, it was GREAT!

Maybe but kids say whatever their favorite number is. AJ will tell you she's 5 today and 9 tomorrow. She'll say 2 to get into a movie or she'll swear she's 4 (which is mostly true). Disney didn't care. I said she turned 3 the day we arrived to some of them and they just didn't care.

Re: Disney moms?
They won't ask for a BC, only you can decide if you want to try or not.

Disney moms?
We have been there at least 12 times, and no one has EVER asked my children their ages. They scan the tickets and you go through. No one is making small talk beyond " good morning, have a magical day.." when there are thousands of people that need to go through the gates.

Re: Disney moms?
Will your child lie about their age? They might not ask but they might. The cast member tend to not ask parents and confront them but to ask the kids instead by starting a convo w/ them. We avoided this by going a month before DD#1 turned 3. She was asked at restaurants if her birthday was soon. I never needed it but brought a copy of her bc just in case.
Is there a way you could go the week of the birthday or before your DC turns 3 (they are age at check in so if your DC turns 3 the day after check in they are 2 for the trip. Then you don't need to worry about the what ifs...
