Xpost: Newborn Photoshoot Question
crashing sorry - this is an Xpost....
I have been contacting some vendors to find out their pricing and if they are willing to travel to us in Brooklyn.
Many of these vendors are nice about it, but are not willing to travel outside of Long Island at all.
I contacted a few that I like who are already located within NYC, but some of their prices are ridiculous! I like Emily Burke, who works in NYC and her session fee is reasonable, $200 but to pay for pics, the cheapest package is $900 
I really REALLY love Anne Hack. I want her to do my pics so bad but DH only agreed to do the newborn shoot if it happened in our home. I don't blame him, i don't want to take a newborn out in the middle of winter to take some pics - i can't justify it.
Anne seems like she is willing to work with me..so we'll see.
My question, does she also charge seperately for pictures? or does her session fee include pics as well? I don't actually need harcopy pics, a CD would be fine.

Not the answer you are looking for, but check out Little New York photography (littlenewyorkphotography.com). She is located in LIC, so she will probably be willing to travel o BK.
I know a few friends who were very pleased. We would have used her if we dcided to do NB pics....

Have you looked into Amy Jocelyn? I'm pretty sure she's located in like Westchester or something. She traveled out to us in mid LI and brought all props. Price was totally reasonable too! And I booked her last minute... like days 2 days before I gave birth!

she was one of the photographers in NYC who I contacted but I have not yet heard back from her.

The price was just the CD, we used shutterfly to make photo books.
I am not 100% on this but my friend just used her about 6 weeks ago (although she went to her house) and I am pretty sure she said it was like $250-300 and she got digital copies on a shutterfly type site and printed her own photos. Sorry I can't be more specific but I know she was extremely reasonable and the pics were awesome. If I talk to my friend, I will ask for more specifics!
