You keep every art project?
I try to keep as many as I can. DS is only 3. Has been in daycare since 3 months. I kept most of his little stuff especially the hand prints, holiday stuff, etc.
Now he goes to school and comes home with everything. Today was a kite with tons of glitter so of course it's all over his backpack and all over my counter. Glitter should be outlawed!! LOL! Kidding... Sort of.
Oh, and then the eyes fall off of projects or pieces of paper, beads, etc. I do love getting them, but can't keep them all.

I throw out the xerox pics from school that just has marker scribble on it.. but I keep everything else. I have a paper art portfolio that you can get at Michaels or any art store, and I can organize by school year, etc.

I throw out everything. Half the stuff is crap. The laminated projects I will keep but everything else gets tossed after DH sees it. I honestly don't have the room.

Re: You keep every art project?
I would display some of the best art around the house (on the fridge, or in his room, or on a bulletin board solely dedicated to his work) for DC to see, keep a few other ones that don't get displayed (an art portfolio as the PP suggested in a great choice) and then either toss the rest or send them off to one of the grandparents. My MIL is a hoarder and would probably squeal at any artwork I send her, so if I don't want it... I'm recycling it on over to her if I can't bear to throw it out myself

Re: You keep every art project?
Not sure where i heard this...prob on here..but when dd gets older im going to save them for a little bit maybe 6 months worth ( she is only 13 months so i have a while for this ) but ill gather up a bunch i saved and scan them and make a book of them and just save the book to look backon...less mess no glitter everywhere and less storage of papers everywhere plus it's something for dd n me to look back on when they get older.

My SIL took pictures of all my nephew's art and made photo books (I think from Kodak), organized by season/holiday.

Re: You keep every art project?
As long as it's more than 2-3 little lines or dots on a page, yes. I keep the old ones in a rubbermaid container in the basement, and the newer ones are on my wall.
