1/ Where can I find those plastic cover/apron/overall thingies for kids? Those wil plastic sleeves and it ties in the back. I am gearing up for paint projects.

2/ What are those "static" colored shapes called (they are not stickers though but kind of like them!) that you can reposition on paper? And where can I fing them?

1: You mean an art smock?

Something like this?

Most "static" things that you can reposition are called "clings". They are usually for walls and/or windows, but I guess you can use some of them on paper.

I would use one of your DH's old collared shirts for a smock and Borders carries Colorforms and some sticker books have reusable stickers.

We dont usually do a smock for painting projects. Instead I just designate specific clothing for painting projects. Ive always found that, for this age, they still wind up with paint on them.

Vinyl table cloths work really well as protective floor and table coverings. You can usually pick them up at the dollor store. Sometimes even 2/$1.

Im at a loss on the other stuff. However have you tried an education supply store? Im not sure where there is one in your area...Perhaps someone on the Teachers Board might help.

Yes. coloform. That's it! Thanks!

Donna, I will let you know if I find a smock somewhere. Ikea has it online but not in the store on LI.

Heather. I got some plastic tarp at HD to cover the craft table.
