still napping at 4 years old....
if your child is still napping at 4yrs old+ when would/did you have to take it away....kindergarten, 1st grade? do you even have to take it away?

My 4 year old is napping as I type! I really should go wake him because I don't want to interfere with his bedtime but it's so nice and quiet!
I send him to his room after lunch and tell him to play quietly while I shower. Sometimes he sleeps, sometimes doesn't. Either way, I want him to have downtime. I'll stop when he his to kindergarten!

Ds is almost 4 and still naps. I napped every day after I got home from kindy  I'm sure ds will let me know when he is done with naps.

see, so did I!!! the only thing is it gets annoying because I have to lay down with her in my bed to get her to nap biggest no-no I have done didn't make that mistake with dd#2  i guess we'll see what happens next year but I figure she might lose the nap altogether if I don't lay down with her and I'm sure i won't be able to do so as readily and easily when she's in 1st grade
