4 years old and obsessed with dying??????
so all of a sudden my four year old is obsessed with dying. he's afraid to go to sleep because he doesn't want to die. i tried to tell him about going to heaven and becoming an angel and blah blah blah but he doesn't want to be an angel, he wants to be a human!!!!  when i was putting him to bed tonite he was hysterical crying saying you want me to die? then i will go to sleep? what do i do???????

We got All Dogs Go To Heaven. We get the death questions at night when Joseph is completely exhausted. Actually it only comes up when he's really tired...everything from "Why did Daddy put Edna in the ground?" (pet ferret) to asking God to let Aunt Doreen to please come back. Heartbreaking.

omg it's heartwrenching!!! he's so terrified. he asked me if i was ever going to die and i said well everyone eventually dies and his whole face fell and he started crying!!!

how heartbreaking!!!!!! my 4yr old says silly things too that I try not to take seriously, but sometimes we gotta wonder what their little minds are telling them
