Newborn Photo Session

Hi All. Im new here. I have been looking on the boards for awhile and everyone seems so nice I figured it was time to join.

I'm currently entering my second trimester, this is my first child. My husband and I are super excited!

I am interested in a newborn photo session and I saw Christine Melissa Photography on here. I had some questions for anyone who has used her or who has any recommendations for reasonably priced sessions.

Christine Melissa's work is gorgeous! I love that style. I also say Summer Lyn's work, but her prices were kind of high.

Has anyone used Christine Melissa? Does she book up quickly? Did you enjoy working with her? Was her work as gorgeous as it on her site/blog?

Does anyone else have any other recommendations for photographers? Just to do some comparitive shopping.

I don't know about Christine Melissa, but I can tell you that most newborn sessions should be scheduled at least 3 months before you're due.

I'm having the twins done by Michelle McFadden and I scheduled her at 14 weeks.

Have you contacted her? She should be able to give you an idea about her schedule and whether or not she fills up quickly.

I used Shira Z Photography for DS's newborn shoot and am using Michelle McFadden this time around. I don't remember exactly when but I did contact both very early as they do tend to book up quickly.

I don't know anything about Christina Melissa either but the name does sound familiar, I think I've seen other LIFers post about using her. Maybe try x-posting on the parenting board for some more feedback? Good luck!

Yes she def books up so I would get on her calendar! She is amazing…you will not regret using her!

I used Christine Melissa earlier this month for my newborn. The pics came out gorgeous. She was great with the baby. I'd contact her and see if she has openings. Friends of mine have also used Forever Fireflies and been very satisfied.

I used Christine Melissa for DS newborn pics and she was great with the baby and the pics were gorgeous, we were very happy with her. I booked her 7 months before my due date, she is worth giving a call to find out availability

I am booked with Christine Melissa, and I booked less than 3 months in advance. Maybe I just got lucky or time of year played a factor, but give her a shout and see if she's available. I don't have experience to share yet, but her work I've seen is incredible!

I used Christine Melissa too, she is awesome. Her work is amazing and she is so great with babies. I was very happy with our pics!

I've used Christine Melissa for a few shoots. Her work is phenomenal! She's such a joy to work with, so much so that it feels like a friend came over and happened to take some pictures of your kid. And then when you get those pics....

I simply can't recommend her enough.
