what are the signs that labor is coming soon?
What are the signs/symptoms that labor is approaching. 37 weeks and last week I was 1.5 cm dilated. I see two doctors at my practice and one told me 2 weeks ago that my baby would come early, probably in the next two weeks- which would be this week. Then last week I saw the other doctor and he said its doubtful that I would go early because most first time moms don't.... but you never know.
Anyway, today I feel like crap and am wondering if its because I just feel lousy or if labor is coming on. I was very restless in last night's sleep. Now I have a pounding headache. My school is blasting the heat so its def not helping the situation.
Do headaches mean anything.... or is it just a plain old headache? I see the doctor tomorrow and will ask but I am just wanting to prepare myself.

glad you asked this. I was wondering the same thing. Does cramping mean anything??? I have my first internal wednesday. Nervous about that!

The internal is not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Its literally 30 seconds- a pap is much worst in my opinion. Even the strep B test wasn't so bad. Although I was preparing for the worst.

I'm just nervous that it will bring on labor. DH and I  and I was a nervous wreck all day that the baby would arrive before I went to sleep that night! I'm crazy! I know!

I would definitely call your doctor about the headache - That could be a sign of high blood pressure.
