I need something to wear for thanksgiving
So, I'm almost 15 weeks, I'll be 16 weeks at Thanksgiving. I'm not really showing at all, but my weight has allways been very consistent and I've already gained 3 lbs and none of my clothes are comfortable. I look basically normal in the morning, but by evening I look like I've taken up eating pizza at midnight everynight for second dinner.
We do thanksgiving failry dressy in my family, no yoga pants which is basically all I've been wearing right now. Also. none of my work clothes fit, but since I have the option to wear scrubs thats all I've been wearing.
I went to old navy and target to look for a sweater dress or wrap dress or something, but everything was crappy.
Can anyone suggest something for this akward chubby stage of pregnancy.

What about a nice flowy top with leggings and boots? Dress it up with accessories. I love sweaterdresses, but I can see how you wouldn't feel comfortable if it's form fitting.

This is my own quirk, but I have a strong hatred of leggings. Like, I have never owned a pair.
Maybe I'll have to give in, or if I can finda sweater dress, I'll just do tights.
Can anyone suggest some more places to look for a sweater dress? There seem to be less of them this year.

If you don't like leggings or can't find sweater dresses, you can go with any type of empire waist dress. I have a really cute black jersey material dress, I bought at Kohls. It wasn't expensive or maternity, but I wore it during my pregnancy. Looks cute and it isn't clingy!

Try Motherhood Maternity/Pea in the Pod.
Also if your pants are the issue-- try a belly band!

I've been living in leggings so I'm no help. Did you get the belly band? I'm still able to wear my pre pregnancy pants with the band and I just wear sweaters.

I bought a belly band, but I find it annoying, it's always rolling up in the back.
Really the problem is my laziness right now. I need to go shopping and I have zero desire to do so. Guess I'll have to drag my butt off the couch this weekend and see what I can find. I'm still stuck in the zero energy part of pregnancy

I just got two sweater dresses from H&M. They only had a few but I found some that worked for me.

This. H&M could have some cute things. I would go before Saturday if you can - I just heard that they are launching a Versace line and imagine it may be hectic over the weekend!

Just go get some nice Maternity black dressy pants, and where a non-maternity flowy top or baggy sweater. No one will know you are wearing maternity pants, and you will be comfortable. I got nice ones at Destination Maternity (pea in a pod). You will need them evenutally anyway.

Did you look at Old Navy online? They have WAY more stuff then the stores. The stores are a joke. It's like 3 racks of stuff. ON online has a ton though. I'm sure if you order by tonite, first thing tomorrow morning, you can get it by Thanksgiving.
I was also against leggings for a long time too but if you put a long enough tunic or sweater dress over it it looks great. And most importantly, is sooo comfy.

I just purchased this dress from Destination Maternity and I just tried it on, I love it! It comes with a tie that is not shown in the picture which will go around under the bust which will make it fit nice for someone who has no belly yet. link

I just bought a nice non maternity dress from Macy's. I'm already showing, but the dress is so comfy and really didn't accentuate the bump. I also bought a super cute sweater dress from pea in the pod.
