What do you wear on Thanksgiving?
Does everyone dress for comfort or get dressed up?
In my family we used to get dressed up but this year I am hoping to get away with just looking decent.

somewhere in the middle -- i don't do super comfort where i don't care what i look like, but i also don't put on a dress and high heels.
usually i put on a pair of dressy jeans, boots, and either a blouse or nice sweater. do my make up and hair like i would if i was going out on a saturday nite to dinner with friends.
since there are kids at my parents house that want to play and such, i don't feel the need to put on a fancy outfit since i gotta keep up with them.

if i'm cooking, i go for comfort.
this year, i can get away with a little extra comfort since i'm still "recovering" from my surgery... i'll wear a pair of plack knit yoga pants and a nice knit top, with ballerina slippers. i think it will look decent and still fit in the COMFORT category

This year I will be wearing my Giants jersey!
But normally comfy but neat. Jeans and a sweater, or a sweaterdress and leggings...something along those lines.

Comfort for me (tee & jeans/cords possibly cargos.) I'm busy running around preparing things and caring for the kids, so as much as I would love to be in heels and a skirt, it's just not practical.

Usually, since it's just my immediate family and the occassional straggler, we wear PJs/yoga pants. Keep it very casual and comfy.
This year we're going to my in-laws... so probably jeans. But hopefully I can convince my SILs to change into our "uniforms" (aka... sweats) before the big show.

I always dress nicely for the holidays. This year, black pants, maroon turtle neck sweather, maroon crocheted vest, crystal and gold necklace, maroon heels!

I usually dress up. This year I'm wearing black pants, kitten heels, a nice top, and a sweater coat that I can take on and off if I get hot or when I eat.

This year it's just the 5 of us and I'm cooking so I won't even be in shoes.
