Holy weight Gain Batman!
I was 178lbs when I got pregnant with DC #2.
I'm at 23 weeks and I'm now 190lbs. This past month alone I gained 6lbs.

I'm in my 24th week and I'm up 18lbs  I didn't want to gain more than 30 total but I don't know how it will be possible to go another 16 weeks and only gain another 12lbs.
It sounds like you are doing fine!

For DS#1, I gained 50+ lbs. Lost almost all of it.
For DS#2, I gained 50+ lbs. Lost all of it.
For the first trimester of this pregnancy, I was actually losing weight due to M/S and lack of appetite. First few appointments I weighed less than I did before I got pregnant with #2, so I was thinking I wouldn't gain as much weight.
Well, from my 16week appointment to my 20 week appointment I gained 8lbs alone!! Even though I think I'm eating better and I know I'm certainly more active with this pregnancy than with the previous two, I'm on track to gain 50+ lbs again.
Whatever. If this is how my body makes and delivers big, healthy babies -- sobeit. The weight will come off after  gets here.

I gained 40lbs with my first and it took me forever to loose it. 20lbs came off right away but that other 20lbs stayed on for a long time. I finally started working out and eating better and lost all but 3lbs of it.
I have a mission not to gain more then 25lbs this pregnancy. I will even go to 30lbs but no more. I'm 21 weeks and have gained 12lbs, which I'm not happy about. I was hoping to only gain about 8lbs by now. I'm on pelvic rest as of yesturday and can't really work out. I'm hoping the weight doesn't start coming on fast. That is what happened last time after 20 weeks.

12 lbs in 23 weeks is great. At 28 weeks I am up 20lbs and in the next 12 weeks who knows how many more I will gain

thanks ladies. I think ht was more concerned that it was 6lbs in a month! lol. But I have been on bedrest so I got a "free pass"

You are doing OK! I am 20 weeks today and am up 12-14 lbs, depending on the day. I didn't gain a pound with my first pregnancy so this kinda freaks me out...but...I just need to try and make the best choices as far as foods from here on in and keep up my walks a few times a week!

im 12 weeks and up 6lbs.
at this time wtih DD i was up 2 lbs.
I gained 38lbs with DD, took me about 9 months to loose it (takes you 9 months to put it on/takes you 9 months to loose it)

Whats normal, because Im 25 weeks and up 8.5 lbs and my dr told me its too much and I need to watch... It was 2 lbs the first 20 weeks and then i gained 6 lbs one month..

I think he means the 6lbs in one month was too much not the total weight gain. My doctor said that to me too when PG with DS. Your total weight gain at 25 weeks is great! Not alot at all.
