Anyone else have to cancel a trip this weekend?....I'm so torn.
We were supposed to head to Lancaster Sat and come home Tues. I am SUPER bummed. This was to be our first time away as a family.
I keep checking the weather, but it is looking pretty cr*ppy Sat and Sun and Im asuming rain= no good for amusement parks.
What are/would you do?
And just for fun since I haven't posted in a while.....

we're canceling a family trip as well  We were supposed to go upstate Saturday-Monday. That definitely isn't happening.

I think Lancaster is far enough in you may avoid the storm. Hopefully it will stay out to sea.

We are going to Hershey, leaving Friday, coming home Sunday. So far, we are not canceling. We figure the hotel is booked already, might as well go and make the best of it. Maybe we'll be able to get some stuff in on Saturday. So far it said few showers on the weather channel. We're keeping our fingers crossed.

We were supposed to go to Eden Resort on Sunday. Not sure if we are still going or not. We are waiting a bit longer but will decide on Friday for sure.

Yes  We just cancelled out trip to Ocean City, MD and Bethany Beach DE. So no happy about it!

We are supposed to go away for our anniversary Friday-Sunday. The kids are staying with my IL. I'm afraid it is going to be hard to drive home on Sunday. Not sure what to do .

We are scheduled to go to Dutch Wonderland and Strasburg RR this weekend, leaving Friday and coming home Sunday. We were planning on going with another couple, staying at the Eden Resort in a 2 bedroom villa. Well, our friends most likely won't be making the trip, be we still are! As far as DH and I are concerned- we need a family vacation and we don't care if it's a monsoon or not! We're going to leave early morning on Friday and go straight to DW that afternoon. Check in to the hotel afterwards, have dinner and then relax. Saturday, weather permitting, we'll maybe do the water rides at DW and if it's not pouring, try to head to Strasburg RR in the afternoon. On Sunday, we're just planning on laying low, so we'll probably just have breakfast, then either do the outdoor or indoor pool depending on the weather, and then start the trek back home after lunch. TBH- DH and I have been forced to work in all kinds of shiitty conditions so weather doesn't phase us. As long as we are together, it's a change of scenery, we'll have fun!!

I'm scheduled to go away to Nashville with some college friends.
I think I'm going to change my return flight to come home Sat evening instead of Sun so I don't get stuck there. I'm kind of bummed but, happy I will get to spend some time with them!

They are so cute!!! We were supposed to go to Boston Monday- Wednesday but looks like Monday will be bad as we are driving there, so we are holding off...
Sunday is DD's baptism and we just don't know what to do

yes we are very upset here and freaking out trying to figure out what is happening with our trip we are scheduled to go on a cruise out of NJ on Sunday.

Same here...we were checking in on Sunday...I'm debating.....got such a good rate though it would be a shame.
Sunday looks crappy but Monday looks fine
