Give me your opinions on this newborn Santa outfit (Updated with PURCHASE INFO!)
DH thought the other hat I was going to buy was too "girly" for our son since it was lined with fur, so I'm looking again for a cute Santa outfit for my DS's newborn shoot.
I found this one...
a) do you think it's suitable for a boy? (I'm thinking yes...)
b) Do you think just the Santa hat with a diaper would be as cute? Or do you think it needs the little red pants?
I'm thinking of just going with the hat...

ANOTHER UPDATE, with additional info from vendor, in casea you're interested:
"The "pants" are actually leg warmers, my photographer just didnt scrunch them for some reason.
I also, do have an entire set or could sell this as a hat and diaper cover. Fluffy ruffles for the girls and just a red diaper cover with fuzzy trim for the boys. Really adorable! We rushed to get images for the Christmas in July sale so we are still pulling everything together."

That is a beautiful photo!!!
I'd go with hat only. You can put a plain diaper and have the same impact in the photo.

I am not sure what i am having but i am also du in Nov and want this for my holiday/birth announcement! Can i get the info as well!

Both are cute. Honestly, the darker red part of the other hat you posted was why I loved it! I really didn't think boy or girl at all. I'd stick with the older one.

It can def work for either boy or girl and I think the pants are absolutely adorable but can def work with just a diaper as well

OMG that is absolutely ridiculous! I can't even stand how adorable that is!! 
I think the whole outfit it cute, but it looks like those pants could be uncomfy and a little scratchy on those itty bitty super soft baby legs. I'd go with just the hat and diaper- that will be super cute and definitely have the same effect. Sometimes, simplicity is better!
