Spotting, late 3rd tri ?
I already have a Dr appt tomorrow morning, and I've already called and reported the spotting (and the loss of my mucus plug earlier this week). I was told as long as the bleeding doesn't get heavier, I'll be fine to wait for my appt tomorrow to be seen.
My story: Since we have no idea when I conceived, early dating sonos put me due on 7/30, but latest appts/measurements have me due 7/18. So I could be 35-36.5 weeks right now. With DS1, my water broke and he was born at 38 weeks exactly. I lost my plug and was dilated about 3cm for 3 weeks before delivery...but never spotting.
I assume I'm likely dilating again (at least thats what it feels like with all the cervix pressure I've been feeling), but I've been spotting for 4 days straight. There's absolutely no reason for cervix irritation (aka ), so it's not that. And no pain that I'd associate with a UTI either.
Anyone have a similar experience? Thanks

Re: Spotting, late 3rd tri ?
It could be the mucous plug? I had some spotting the day before i went into labor with my DD #1, I was already overdue at that point...but i have read it happens sometimes 2-3 weeks before you have the baby.

Re: Spotting, late 3rd tri ?
I had spotting a couple of weeks ago. My high risk doc couldn't find a reason for it. It happened again one night a few days later and my OB sent me to L&D. Again, they couldn't find a reason for it. They said the baby could just be low on my cervix and irritating it. Hope everything goes well tomorrow!
