Opinions please - shower related
Although I'm not certain, I'm pretty sure my shower is today. My mom has been putting every effort into making it a surprise because that's her thing and she has made me crazy throughout the process. I'm now on strict bedrest and she has been pretty vocal about me coming out to her house so she can "take care of me". She's been pushing for me to come out today so I'll be there for Father's Day.
My question: Do I go all dressed up or do I just do my hair and make up and bring my dress? I feel like I just want to be dressed and ready and then I can get right back to strict bedrest and lie down. But then I feel bad that she has made such efforts, extremes at times, to keep this a surprise so should I just go along with it? I told her the other day that any time I was seeing her I was going to be dolled up so that I looked nice just in case and she laughed at me. I plan on acting surprised no matter what. I know this is totally silly but what would you do?

Bring the dress, and if it turns out to not be to shower maybe give it to your mom to hold for the shower so then you don't have to worry again.

Thanks ladies! After all of that, they decided to tell me because my mom actually did what I had suggested (I wanted an unconventional, happy hour themed baby shower - or anything where the ladies could tie one on while I opened my diaper genie and sheet saver) which I'm TOTALLY shocked about b/c I know she was envisioning live storks and giant safety pins. So they basically had to tell me because of the bed rest situation and it's a late night soiree so she wanted me dressed. Love it! Totally psyched and I really can't wait to have some mocktails with the ladies!
