BF moms that are feeding solids, please share your feeding/nursing routine
Just wondering how often everyone nurses while also offering solids. I'm not sure if we nurse too often some days or not enough! Also, do you still nurse at night? Our day/night goes something like this:
Wake up between 6-7 am: Nurse Breakfast around 8:30: Cereal, fruits, yogurt Nurse before nap between 9-10 am Lunch anywhere from 1 to 2 pm: fruits, veggies, pastina Nurse before nap around 3-4 Dinner anywhere between 5:30-6:30: cereal, pastina, veggies, fruit Bedtime routine between 6:30-7:30: bath, massage, books, nurse, then bed Wakes at night anywhere from 2 to 5 times, sometimes I can rock him back to sleep without nursing, sometimes he gets the boob because it's easier to get him back to sleep and I wanna sleep too!
DS is 9 months now, going to introduce meats and move to more table foods soon.
TIA!

Re: BF moms that are feeding solids, please share your feeding/nursing routine
Our schedule really varies based on wake up time and I adjust throughout the day based on how long she naps, but it generally goes something like this:
(DD is 5 months) 6:30-7: Wakeup BF 8-8:30 Veggies (we started with veggies instead of grains--going to fruit soon) 9-nap for about an hour/hour and a half 10-BF 12-nap (anywhere from 1-2 hours) 1-BF (we haven't added lunch yet) 4-BF 5:30-Veggies 7-8 BF and bed (hopefully)
DD rarely wakes up at night, but when she does, I try to soothe her by rocking first, but if she's acting hungry or really won't go back, I'll nurse back to sleep.
I usually nurse 5 times a day. Sometimes 4. Your schedule sounds about right.

I nurse DD at least five times a day, but she's 6 months and we haven't added a third meal yet. Your schedule looks ok to me!

DD is 8.5 months old and we have the same exact schedule, including waking during the night (usually once or twice).
She nurses 4-5 times a day.
