Argh- this is why I'm not having any more!
At just over 20 weeks I'm pretty sure I'm developing PUPPS. Only lucky me would get it this early, second pregnancy and having a girl. For those of you who don't know anything about it, PUPPS is a red extremely itchy rash that develops on your stomach and spreads. IT IS MISERABLE!!! When it develops, it's mostly around 35 weeks, your first pregnancy and if you are having a boy.
The only cure for it is delivery, which means I'm in for a very unhappy 19 weeks.
I developed hives after having DD#1, about a week after delivery from head to toe from what we think was a Motrin allergy and I was praying to never have to go through that again. Now it looks like I'm going to be miserable for 4+ months, instead of 2 weeks.
This sucks.

i had PUPPS, like you said it was my first pregnancy, I had a boy and it was around 35 weeks or so. I tried every cream known to man (Sarna cream did help a bit) but in the end, after suffering for about two weeks (I couldn't even work a few days I was so uncomfortable) I went to a dermatologist and got a cortizone cream. It was instant relief and it subsided the rash so much. I didnt even have to apply the cream everyday. It changed my life. I really feel for you, it is totally miserable. Maybe you can get some of the cortizone cream.

DH's cousin had that last summer and i know it was no fun for her either. she had a girl too. so i guess it happens to either sex.
