BTDT Moms - When did your child crawl and walk?

DS is 6mo and crawling like a madman already . We have a vacation to the Bahamas planned for when he is 8mo. Now that I think about it, it is quite possible that he will be trying walking by then... I am not prepared for that!!

Just curious... When did your DC crawl and walk? TIA!

Emerson started crawling between 6-7m. Then started to pull up and cruise by 8 m and was full on walking by 9m25d. And has NOT stopped since. She's a mad woman!

DS was doing the military crawl (flat on his stomach, pulling himself around by his forearms/elbows) for the longest and then at 10 months he took off on his hands and knees. He took his first steps 3 weeks ago but hasn't really been walking much since. He much prefers to crawl.

Sounds like your DS won't be waiting as long!

ETA: DS is 1 as of the 2nd.

Joey crawled at 6-7 months and took his first steps at 10 months.

DS started to really crawl at 7 months.
He's now 9 months (will be 10 months on the 22nd) and he's standing a lot, cruising a lot, but he's not really interested in walking. He'd rather crawl from point a to point b. He'll stand, let himself down on his butt, crawl, and stand again.

We went on a cruise early this month & just let DS crawl everywhere. I'd say, bring some light, long pants to protect the knees and go with whatever will happen.

I think the boys started crawling around 7mo, took steps around 10mo and were walking right before 11mo.

Crawlinh fully just before 7 months.
First steps a few days before 11 months. By 11.5 he was pretty much walking.
I thought DS would be an early walker. He was pulking up to stand at 6 months and would kinda cruise a tiny bit.

DD was crawling by 7 months but didn't walk until after a year (she was taking steps before then and was full walking by 13 months).

DS was a totally different story - crawling at 9.5 months and walking at 15 months

My DD is 11 months and does not crawl...she has no intention of doing so. She just scoots on her butt all over the place.

As for walking, I hold her hands and she walks but not on her own yet. We'll see...hopefully soon!

Full time walkinhg- 9 months

Pulling up and cruising- 7 1/2 months

Walking across large rooms- 10 months
full time walking 11 months

Kaydyn crawled at 6 months, and didn't walk until the day before her 1st birthday.

Ainsley crawled around 8 months and just started walking about a month ago at 14 months.

#2=6 months; 11 months
?? He's 7.5 months now and he gets from point A to B somehow, but not by crawling.

DS started crawling at 10 months (had a gross motor delay) and started walking at 15 months.

DD crawled at 11 months; walked at 15. She wasn't interested.

DS crawled at 6 or 7 months; walked at 10.

Walking independently - 15 months
Crawled - At 15 months, the day AFTER sh started walking.

WOW everyones babies crawled so early.

My DD started the army crawl at 9 months. (she'll be 10 months next week).

She JUST yesterday got onto her knees, looked like she was gonna do the real crawling then didnt LOL.

Its fine IM in no rush!!

DS started fully crawling at 7 1/2 months. He started really crawling on a Weds and pulled to stand for the first time on a Sun.

He was fully walking at 11 months.

I thnk she started crawling (army style at first) by 5 months..gotta check her book. She started pulling up by 6-7 months.
She stood on her own first time Christmas Morning and took about 2 steps- so she was about 8Months and 3 weeks old. By the end of that week - just a few days shy of 9 months...she was walking.
