registry stalking
I can't help it but I'm just so curious so I check my registry everyday
My shower is next Saturday, there are 60 people attending, there are only a few things purchased.
I think most of my family is getting what ever they want & not looking at the registy.
I was wondering if everyone's family is stubborn like mine
Did you ladies get a lot of things on your registry?

I'm in the same boat as you! Shower in 3 weeks and soooo many items we need left! It's really making me nervous!
My family asked my mom what they could get me if they don't know the sex. Um...i have THREE registries with tons of stuff on them! It was listed on and with the invitation!

Re: registry stalking
I was the ultimate registry stalker.. Every single day and multiple times a day. The stuff wasn't coming off until the night before, almost everything came off and some items I got at the shower weren't taken off the registry but they were purchased cuz I recieved them!
I also did get alot of gifts that weren't on the registry but I mostly got everything we needed from the registry, especially all the big items!
So don't stress out!

Re: registry stalking
I also like gifts not from registry. Like books, monthly stickers, things BDTD moms swear by, handmade items, frames, scrapbooks- these are all gifts I've seen given or given at showers that are not registry related, but very appreciated by me.

Re: registry stalking
I had a mix - some people bought off my registry (and didn't have it marked as purchased) and others bought what they wanted. A lot of people did shop the day before and even the day of the shower.

Re: registry stalking
I guess I'll see how it goes. I am grateful for anything on the registry or not, I feel like I'm sounding unappreciative but I'm really not. It was just surprising that there are 60 people going to the shower & only a few things gone from he registry. We'll see how it goes, I can't wait to see all my family & friends in one place

Re: registry stalking
We were very fortunate -- our registry was pretty much decimated after my shower. I had to add things the last 2 days just to make sure there was stuff for people to buy who were last minutes shoppers.
For us, I think the main reason was that we were Team Green and people couldn't buy tons of gender specific outfits, so they felt they HAD to buy off the registry.
