BFP today!!! CANNOT BELIEVE IT
I got my BFP today on a digital and 2 dollar tree tests. I've been testing all month compulsively with nothing and then got my period or so I thought. "Period" was wacky this week, I guess its implantation bleeding - which it wasn't what I expected it to be like! My last real period was April 18th, according to a due date calculator online I am 4 weeks 3 days and due January 31 :)
I am bloated with sore boobs and severe back pain (but I just thought I twisted it- but couldn't really see how)
I am nervous because I have been smoking after quitting many years (about 2-3 packs a week) Quitting, as of today I had none, I was going to try today to quit anyway but now with the BFPs definitely not smoking and I drink way too much caffeine so I will stop that. I've been taking vitamins for months.
I guess I will call the doctor Tuesday? I bet he will not see me till 2-4 more weeks? And I guess I will not tell anyone (except DH of course- he is in shock-doesn't believe it) until I hear heartbeat and all okay by doctor?
I have so much to do and so much to learn!!
Do you think everything will be okay? I got drunk at a wedding on May 6th and of course the smoking?

first off, congrats!!!
second - DO NOT WORRY about the smoking (or drinking) you've done up until now. when I got my BFP, i literally POAS, went outside, smoked a cig, and came back in and read the results. part of me just knew it was going to be my last one. and i'm fine. and my baby is fine as far as i know! i've had no real problems this pregnancy other than M/S.
yes call your dr. on tuesday. every doctor is different. i went in at 6w.

Thanks - today not smoking was fine! I am so focused on this baby I hope it stays this easy.

Congrats!!! Don't worry about the drinking or smoking. 2 days before I got my BFP I tested & got a BFN. That night I went to a party & got very drunk & smoked a lot of cigarettes. When I got my BFP I stopped smoking right away & everything is fine so far. My OB also said that at that time you are not sharing with your baby yet. Congrats again and happy and healthy 9 months!!!

Congrats!!! I just got a BFP yesterday so we're due right around the same time!
Don't worry about the drinking/smoking. I was a social smoker when I got pregnant with DC #1. The week before I got my BFP, I went to a wedding and drank a LOT and also smoked some cigarettes. Of course, as soon as I found out I was pg, I stopped. DC is a perfectly healthy, adorable, smart little munchkin.
Good luck with the quitting!
