5 weeks and...

I already need maternity pants
I'm pretty much 5 wks pregnant and my pants don't fit right. I am overweight to begin with and my clothes fit snug but now it my jeans and slacks are getting tighter.
Anyone else here with this issue?

Im not even 9 weeks and CLEARLY pregnant...not, oh maybe shes pregnant....there is NO DOUBT. This is my 2nd, but I was the same way the first time around with DS.

yes I am very bloated! its crazy because I know I shouldnt look like this yet.

i was very bloated in the beginning and some of my tighter jeans got too tight. i bought the be band from target and use that so i can be comfy in my jeans.

this is my second and I was in maternity patns by 6 weeks for sure. First time around it was 8 or 9. Go for it and don't feel bad about it! At least you'll get your money's worth!

Yep I was/am the same way. My mom commented on how cute my little belly was at around 8 weeks, but from everything Id heard I was not supposed to really have abelly by then lol , so not all that cute after all ahah.

Anyway, some of it is bloat, which will get better and worse depending on the day/time of day (for me it never got MUCH better) but I think some people just show earlier.

Im also not a skinny minny and carry my weight in my stomach area, I also have a short torso which probably doesnt help!

Anyway, Im almost 11w and finally bought some maternity clothes but havent worn them yet, using my regular clothes with a belly band for now and its doing the trick.

I am at work and feeling so uncomfortable. I tried the rubber band trick and it does not work I picked up some pants during lunch and will be wearing them starting tomorrow.

For me it passed and was major bloat. Around 7 weeks I felt very big and would have sworn I would be in maternity clothes within a week or so. But it def. passed and was some major bloat bc at almost 15 weeks I am still in most regular clothes. Those that have gotten a bit snug I just wear with the BellaBand now. I don't own any maternity pants yet. It very well might go away as weird as that sounds.

I was just very bloated in the beginning, but didnt actually start showing until I was 16 weeks.
I just love how strechy maternity pants are so I was wearing them from the beginning anyway!

Same here, I went home and tried on a pair. My belly feels sooo comfy! I'm wearing them from now on.
P.S. It makes my belly look flatter. Since I wear my slacks at my waist, my belly usually looks like a hamburger bun

I'm nine weeks and this past Saturday I thought I would have to go out and buy pants...turns out it was MAJOR bloat and it passed.

Drink water, eat healthy and remember that your baby is growing Congrats!!

at one point i was really bloated and constipated.. i have days like that now as well.. tons of water and fiber and it will get better.. i'm 16 weeks and still in regular clothes..
