Prenatal vitamins w/o DHA.
So I just realized that the OTC vitamins Ive been taking for about 8mths now does not have DHA. Is that bad? Should I switch? If so, is it possible to just buy DHA separately?

I was taking mine w/o DHA for a long while (prob about half this preg), you can by a DHA supplement OTC either Expecta or Target Up&Up brand makes one that's the same ingredients... I wouldn't worry too much you can get DHA from many foods, its just a reassurement that you're getting "enough"

I wouldnt worry, DHA is an added bonus, but its not going to "make or break" the health or well being of your baby. Its a fairly new addition too, wasnt even around, or at least as widely used back in 2007 when I was PG with Eddie, and IMO, hes brilliant, LOL! Id ask your OB, but you definitely havent damaged your child by NOT having DHA.

My prenatals do not have DHA either. My doc recommended that I take an additional DHA vitamin b/c it aids in the baby's brain development. I take the Rainbow Light DHA , which I like b/c it has no fishy aftertaste that I heard some DHA's have.

I would ask your doctor about it before you decide. Neither of my doctors (I went to a different practice for my last pregnancy) ever mentioned DHA to me. Both practices only talked about folic acid being the key thing to look for. I never took DHA.
