prenatal vitamins with DHA
I'm just visiting this board, I'm on my first IVF cycle. I was prescribed primacare and my copay is 50 dollar. Any recommendations on PNV with DHEA

uh, I think you mean DHA, right?
DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone) is a steroid hormone that they think may help improve memory in alzheimer's patients, if I recall correctly....
DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) is an omega-3 fatty acid found in fish oil, and is commonly supplemented in prenatal vitamins.
As an FYI, you can buy purified DHA (expecta pills) and use any prenatal your OB recommends... it doesn't have to be prescription. I've been using an OTC the entire time......

the dha pill Expecta- over the counter you can find at Target- $11 for 30 days...
so you can get your dr to prescribe it without the dha supplement and it will be $25 instead of $50... or get a generic of another brand for less...

You can get the One a Day prenatal and they come with DHA supplements too.

I take this too and it costs me 45 with my insurance so I used it up until the third tri and now went back to jut cal nate with no DHA, it was repeating on me really bad but I stuck it out as long as I could.

I take this as well and it with iunsurance costs me $45 as well as my copay.

i take an otc pre natal (Target brand), and a Fish Oil supplement (Nordic Naturals)... The price is definitely cheaper than 40 or 50 a month.

I take Citra Natal DHA. So far so good! It seems to have everything a pregnant lady would need, including a stool softener to combat constipation.
