Finding out at 17 weeks?
So I am scheduled on Monday for a Sono (Modified Sequential). I will be 17w1d.
Is it wishful thinking to think I could find out what we are having then?
My level II isn't until 6/20 (I'll actually be 21w1d) and I'm hoping to not have to wait that long!

If the baby is cooperating they should be able to tell. We had an appointment last week, at 17w1d, and the tech asked us if we wanted to know (we don't).

We found out at 16 weeks, but he said don't do any painting till after the anatomy scan.

I found out the sex at 17 weeks 3 days.
As long as the baby cooperates, I dont see why not.

A sono tech can DEF tell at 17 weeks. The only reason people often find out at 20 is b/c pregnancies without incident usually have no sonos btwn 12 and 20 (some obs do 16 but not really the norm).
I was told by a sono tech that works at a private 3d place statistics show 85% accuracy at 14w (on a good machine) and then 97% accuracy 16w+.

at our NT scan (12w5d) our sono tech took a guess and said 80%  .....she said she will def. be able to confirm or deny at our next appt. which I will be 16w5d.
