pink flowering trees
I see this all over and want one so bad. Do you know the name of these trees, they are smaller than normal trees and the shape is almost like umbrella like. Also anyone know what these trees run? Are they really expensive?

Re: pink flowering trees
sounds like a Japanese flowering maple. They are beautiful, we have one in our yard but it blooms white. but they only bloom once a season, then the flowers fall off and the are green until the fall

Re: pink flowering trees
I think you are describing the umbrella cherry. I am in love with these and they are not big at all, I went to my local nursery and asked about them. But there blooms are pretty much over now, but they are still beautiful and small enough to put in a garden area.

Re: pink flowering trees
We have a pink flowering dogwood in our front yard. It's only a stick right now, b/c we just planted it last year. But this is what they look like.
