Question about Puffs...

What age did you start with them?

I know they are dissolvable but is it recommended that they have teeth? If so how many did your DC have?

Re: Question about Puffs...

around 7-8 months. She didn't have any teeth. I broke them up into smaller pieces in the beginning.

Re: Question about Puffs...

About 5.5 months. He had 2 teeth by then but he didn't use his teeth for them. They dissolve pretty fast. I tried them first before I gave them to DS.

I would give him one at a time in the very beginning when I saw he could handle then without choking I put 4 or 5 on his highchair tray for him to eat.

Re: Question about Puffs...

Around 7 months- and I broke them in half because they made me so nervous.
I am paranoid about choking.

Now at 10 months she eats them whole and does fine.

And for the record- she has NO teeth at all

Re: Question about Puffs...

With DD#1 we waited until she had teeth to try anything. She didn't get teeth until almost 10 months. We tried shortly after.

DD#2 was prob around 7/8 months (she had teeth earlier).

Re: Question about Puffs...

i started with mum-mums at around 4 months. Moved on to puffs and other such things at around 7 months (DS likes to pick them up off the highchair, so we waited until he could grasp one at a time. otherwise he stuck a whole fistful in his mouth)
