Car seat inspection in Suffolk?
Does anyone know where I can get the car seat inspected in Suffolk? If you know of a place in Nassau please post as well. I am there most weekends. Planning to install the car seat this week. Thank you in advance!

Even though I live much further out east, I went to Hassell as well. They were super nice, too.

Even though I live much further out east, I went to Hassell as well. They were super nice, too.
We went there too even though we live in Mineola. They were the only place I called that would let us come on a weekend.

ITA they're awesome used them for the infant seat AND the convertible seat when it came time to do the switch.

I also heard that any fire dept will inspect. That's probably what we're going to do.

Go to seatcheck.org and it'll guide you to the nhtsa site and give you a list of places.

When I was told any fire dept it made me scratch my head and I hadn't tried yet.
BUT, I did get a referral to a place in Central Islip, I'm looking for the name and # now....
Town of Southhold Police Dept, Riverhead Town Police, East Hampton Town Police, Hassell Auto Body in West Babylon, Good Sam Hospital, West Sayville Fire Dept,
I couldn't find the Central Islip one.

Just wanted to update - DH went to Hassell on Friday and said they were wonderful. Car seat is ready to go! Thanks for the great recommendation!

I could swear that dh had it done at the PD in Happaugue. The huge one across from the courts. I will ask him when he wakes from his beauty sleep
