WWYD

Today is our one year anniversary. I would like to have a glass of champagne or wine but have been nervous about having a drink. We bought sparkling white grape juice that I thought we could drink out of our toasting flutes from the wedding. Would you give in and have some champagne or wine or would you play it safe and have the sparkling white grape juice? BTW.. I'm 21w3d.
TIA!

Have a glass of champagne! Or wine! Sparkling grape juice?! Come on now! That will never make that year old cake taste good! LOL

Re: WWYD

Honestly, I'd just have the juice. My first glass of wine PP made me really sick because it had been so long since I drank. Not a good experience. But if you do decide to have the champagne, I'm sure anyone would totally understand. I had a tuna steak once during my pregnancy and all my OB said was not to have another because it was high in mercury. DD is 100% healthy.

Re: WWYD

I would have the wine or champaign, but that's just me. I have half glass every once in a while (probably once a month) & I usually steel a sip of beer when DH has one (which, again, is probably once a month)

Re: WWYD

Thanks everyone. I had a small glass of wine and it was the best thing I drank in a long time! Also, the cake actually tasted pretty good.
