Feeling down
This is going to be a long 7 months for me. I am really having a hard time with all these changes already. Thinking about what's to come and how much my life is going to change. I'm worried most of the time. For the most part , I have been eating healthy except for the night when I worked till 10 and didn't get to eat dinner so I stopped at Wendy's ont he way home and ate a Double cheeseburger, Chicken Sandwich and large fry all by MYSELF. I feel discusting after eating that now.
Im super emmotional..sorry!

Re: Feeling down
A lot of times it is hormones, but I think I read somewhere that post-partum depression can actually kick in before the baby is here. I don't know the name for it, though.
I'd try to work out a bit, maybe enjoy some sunshine, maybe buy yourself some fresh flowers and keep them in sight..doing something nice for yourself, etc..all are good for the blues, but of course, if it lasts longer than 2 weeks, I'd speak to your doc.
Being pregnant is overwhelming...it's not just when the baby is here that it's overwhelming, it's all the anticipating beforehand, also!

Re: Feeling down
Thanks. I have been working out 3-4 times a week. I haven't stoped my workout regime. I did have depression/anxiety years ago and I just pray it's not coiming back. Now, you've got me worried about Post Partum depression too
Thank you for your suggestions though

Re: Feeling down
Don't worry. I went through the same thing in the beginning! It's all hormonal. It will pass. I was/am worried about post partum depression. I eat healthy (for the most part). I pomise it will pass by 2nd tri. I couldn't be more excited to meet this little girl and I'm 35 weeks. If you need to talk it out you can fm me anytime

ITA! It's the most overwhelming thing I've ever gone through. I spend SO much time worrying about the future and I know that won't change once gets here. It's exhausting!
A few weeks ago, DH and I were talking and I burst into tears because all I could think about was how my relationship with DH would change. EVERYTHING is changing, and change is petrifying to me ... but the important thing to remember is that these changes are going to be insanely wonderful! A baby does change everything. I think acknowledging that is all you can really "do," you know?
As far as the fast food goes, don't stress too much! Unless you're eating like that every day you really have nothing to worry about. Give in to the cravings and do what makes your pregnancy and life a little easier. If that's late-night Wendy's sometimes, then it just is.
You'll be OK! There's lots of support on this board for when you forget this stuff.

Thank you that was really sweet. It really helps when I visit this board bc it reminds me that I am NOT alone in what I am thinking and feeling during this overwhelming time in my life.
Yu are right I just have to acknowledge this and let the change come and make my peace with the change which is so hard for me too.
